Welcome to
EVERGREEN
MONTESSORI
Early Years Excellence
We nurture every child’s strengths and personalities to give them a solid foundation in life skills and confidence to achieve their full potential in the future. Our low teacher to student ratio ensures we develop every child individually as they need.
For Ages 18 Months - 6 Years
For each age group, we have developed Montessori programs to adapt to learning styles at different stages. We encourage children to explore their interests, in addition to our STEAM-based curriculum, which has been embedded in the Montessori system for over 100 years.
15+ Years Of Experience
Our highly trained and dedicated teachers are experienced in providing the support every child needs, guiding them to learn in a fun and engaging environment – in fact, we’ve had over 1,000 children join us so far. All of our teachers are certified by the American Montessori Society.
We are COVID compliant as per Santa Clara county guidelines
The Evergreen Montessori Way
The Montessori Methodology
As a Montessori school we place emphasis on child-directed learning – a highly engaging and hands-on way of educating. At our daycare center we encourage our children to explore and begin to feel ownership over their education, setting the foundation for success in later years schooling and life beyond the early years.
As a community, our children develop social bonds with their peers and a sense of responsibility. This helps them understand their place in the wider community, and blossom in self confidence and independence.
Early Child Education
Learning is a life-long process, and in a child’s early years, they have an astonishing capacity and potential to develop and learn at an incredible pace.

This is why our preschool emphasises the basics of academics in addition to social and emotional development, taking a holistic approach to education adapted to the individual needs and pace of each child.

Children learn by doing. Our daycare center focuses on enhancing children's critical thinking, inner discipline, concentration, and task completion abilities to refine their skills.
Transitioning from Home to Evergreen Montessori School
Our teachers cooperate closely with you to ensure your child's transition to Evergreen Montessori is seamless.

Our children receive a diverse education across sciences, math, language, music, culture, art, yoga, geography and history, to set them up for success at elementary school and beyond. We want to make Evergreen Montessori a place they cannot wait to come to and continue their developmental journey!

What’s a day like for your child?
(Pre-Covid Classroom)

Your child is an acute observer, eager to learn, explore, try new skills, and master them through practice. They’ll be able to innately master new skills if they are introduced in a way appropriate to their age and need, with a varied daily schedule including activities such as outdoor play, yoga, and time for developing their own interests. Toddlers thrive in an environment where the various aspects of the physical world are introduced to them in a systematic way under the guidance of specially trained teachers. Children will fall in love with learning!
What we cover at our program:
Mastering Practical Life Skills
We foster independence and a respect for others and their surroundings. We teach children to clean up after themselves, tie their own shoes, fasten buttons, greet others appropriately, say please and thank you, and learn how to ask for help.
Sensory Learning
Your child’s senses are constantly engaged in understanding the world around them. Our sensory curriculum helps children focus on physical attributes while exploring variations in materials such as height, width, aroma, temperature, shades of colour, and sound. This self-led process of discovery introduces them to abstraction and pre-math sorting skills.
Cultural Activities
Mixed-age classrooms teach children how to work together and learn from each other. Interacting with others of different ages creates a family-like environment, encouraging them to take care of and support each other. Older children have the opportunity to serve as mentors and take on leadership roles, generating confidence, while younger learners feel cared for and included.
What they will learn
Unfolding the human potential
Practical Life Skills
By encouraging children to take responsibility for their routines, look after others, and even tidy up after themselves, we give them a foundation for practical life skills and independence in the future.
Arts, Music & Yoga
These help our children begin to understand themselves and express themselves freely, through exploring movement, sounds, and art from across the world.
Culture & Diversity
Through art, music, stories, and more, we begin to immerse our children in other cultures, which gives them a sense of their own unique cultural backgrounds at an early age.
Refinement of the 5 Senses
Together with our students, we explore the world through our senses, encouraging them to be naturally curious of the world around them.
Math & Science
Encompassing numbers, shapes, and understanding why the world around them is the way it is, our children begin to build a fascination for Math and Science to take with them into their education.
Language & Communication
Together with our students, we explore the world through our senses, encouraging them to be naturally curious of the world around them.
